2. Install main bearing caps with appropriate main bearings, applying engine oil to bearing surfaces.

3. Torque main bearing cap bolts to manufacturer specifications in the prescribed sequence.

4. Install connecting rod bearings and connecting rod assemblies onto crankshaft journals.

5. Torque connecting rod cap bolts to manufacturer specifications.
